Operation
The operation is very simple: you can choose one of the French course formulas that I propose, or we can work out together a personalized formula (for example, if you want more or less hours of French classes, more or less activities, if you want to add cooking workshops, city tours, etc.).
If you wish to reserve one of the proposed formulas, you can do it directly from the site, you will then choose your dates, the formula and you will fill a small questionnaire, so that I know the essential information concerning you to adapt the training to your specific needs. Of course, you can also contact me at any time for further information.
If you want a personalized formulaIf you are interested in a course, please fill in the questionnaire and based on the information you provide (the number of hours you would like to take, the frequency of activities, transportation, etc.) I will be able to offer you a course and give you a price. We will exchange throughout the process in order to meet your expectations as much as possible.

Who am I?
As a teacher of French as a foreign language (FLE) for about twenty years now, I first worked in China, where I participated in the creation of a French department within the framework of a partnership between the University of Burgundy and the University of Henan Province.
I then worked in two language institutes in France, in Montpellier (ILA then LSF) with an adult public.
I gave French courses for all levels, from A1 (absolute beginner) to C2 (experienced user). The courses were general French, French for specific purposes (e.g. business French, French for international relations, etc.) or exam preparation (DELF/DALF/TEF/TCF).
Following these different experiences and driven by the desire to practice my profession in a more autonomous way, I decided to offer my own training, in immersion, here in Mialet.
Immersion allows us to adapt the courses to your specific needs and desires. It also allows us to set up an active pedagogy, since we will try to link the courses to the activities that we will do together.
The French courses will be adapted to your profile and your project, whether you are learning French for professional reasons, for your studies, to travel in a French-speaking country or just for fun.
French immersion courses
- Your lessons will be adapted to your level, your learning pace and your needs. To this end, we will exchange via webcam, email or telephone before your arrival in order to prepare your training as well as possible.
- During our classes, we will use a variety of materials: materials that I create myself or authentic documents (audio, images, videos, texts…). All the necessary equipment will be provided on site.
- French immersion courses will allow you to work on and improve the different skills necessary to master the French language (oral and written comprehension; oral and written production; interaction).
- One-on-one tutoring, unless you come with a group.
- Friendly and serious classes in an inspiring setting.
- A complete immersion learning experience!
- General French courses, French for specific purposes (business French, international relations, etc.) or courses oriented towards exam preparation (DELF / DALF / TEF / TCF).
The place where the stays take place
You will stay in an authentic Cevennes farmhouse, Le Cambon, in Mialet (Gard, Occitanie region), a village located between Anduze, the gateway to the Cevennes, and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, the arrival point of the Stevenson trail, a famous hiking route which crosses the region.
The lodge is located on theoutskirts of the village, on a vast 17-hectare plot of land through which flows a river (the Gardon) and which is covered, in its upper part, by a forest.
The lodge consists of various spaces: the bedrooms, a dormitory, a large common room, several terraces, a pizza oven, two vegetable gardens, a greenhouse, ponds, animal pens and a forest.
The ideal place to learn French in immersion, in a peaceful and studious environment!
How to get there?
If you come by your own means, you can see on the map where the commune of Mialet is located, and if you contact me I will provide you with a precise and detailed map to get to the lodge.
If you don’t have transportation, contact me and we will choose together where I will pick you up (Alès, Nîmes, Montpellier, etc.). If you arrive at the train station or airport, I can meet you there directly.
